Big Fish Games (www.bigfishgames.com), the world’s leading online destination for games and interactive entertainment, announced today the launch of Mystery Case Files: Return to Ravenhearst, the fifth title in Big Fish Games’ blockbuster hidden object-adventure series. The Mystery Case Files franchise is the number one brand in casual games and has sold more than 2.5 million units to date.

“Return to Ravenhearst is the largest and most ambitious project to come out of our studios. The game’s production value rivals some of the top games for the core game audience, yet the game maintains an approachable style that will appeal to all gamers,” said Pat Wylie, vice president of Big Fish Games Studios. “The Mystery Case Files franchise has been generating a mass-market phenomenon similar to what Myst achieved in 1991 and The Sims in 2000. Early reviews and customer testimonials indicate that the release of Mystery Case Files: Return to Ravenhearst will create broad demand well over and above the traditional casual games’ audience.”

“Return to Ravenhearst gives players a chance to jump head first into a truly interactive and immersive mystery novel. The engaging storyline is complemented by haunting performances from live actors and underscored by an original music soundtrack that was performed by the Berlin Film Orchestra,” said Adrian Woods, lead game designer at Big Fish Games. “In addition to the challenging and addictive game play that Mystery Case Files fans have come to know and love, we’ve added a graphic adventure component that allows players to explore and interact with the world of Ravenhearst like never before.”
