A mainstay in the computer gaming industry for more than a decade, Alienware – the leading manufacturer of high-performance notebook, desktop and entertainment systems – has partnered with PMS Clan in the company’s first-ever sponsorship of a competitive gaming team.
PMS Clan formed in 2002 as a way to provide women gamers with a fun and positive gaming environment. Today, they’ve spread their message worldwide with members on five continents. With Alienware as the clan’s official PC sponsor, PMS Clan members will now train and compete on Alienware Area-51® m9750 notebooks.
Look to find PMS Clan on the Dell Intel Extreme Gaming Tour showing off their skills on Alienware rigs. They will also help represent Alienware at events including Quakecon, BlizzCon and Penny Arcade Expo, where you can step up and play against PMS clan members. Alienware fans can find more information on PMS Clan by visiting a dedicated Web page, hosted on Alienware.com, which will include an event schedule, news announcements, player profiles and more.
“Aside from being a group of phenomenally talented and dedicated gamers,” says Claudina Lopez, Marketing Manager at Alienware, “PMS Clan members are committed to furthering the reach and appeal of PC gaming. Not only do they represent the ever-growing base of hardcore gamers, but they also serve as an example of how gaming can transcend entertainment to become a source of community and positive change.”
“PMS Clan is thrilled to be sponsored by Alienware,” explains PMS Clan co-founder Amber Dalton. “Competitive gamers know how important the right hardware is to your game, and Alienware has a long reputation of building some of the most powerful gaming machines in the world.”
