One hundred million used video games are traded annually in the United States alone, according to an industry report from Wedbush Morgan, representing one-third of all games sold nationwide. New charity Donate Games has emerged to help kids around the world who are fighting rare and neglected diseases, all through the donation and selling of used video games.

The charity’s Web-based store at DonateGames.org is now fully operational, and all proceeds help children and their families along with raising awareness for rare and neglected disorders, or “orphan diseases,” afflicting millions of young people across the globe.
