Assassin’s Creed producer Jade Raymond is to head up Ubisoft’s new Toronto studio, when it opens this fall.
Reporting to CEO Yannis Mallat, Raymond will oversee day-to-day running of the office.
"I’m honored to be a part of Ubisoft’s expansion into Toronto,” said Raymond. “I’m looking forward to building a strong and talented team to work on triple-A games and new intellectual properties."
Raymond, who joined Ubisoft in 2004, having worked at EA, Sony Online and IBM. She is expected to take charge of 800 games developers in the Canadian city over the next 10 years.
