It depends on the phone and whether or not there is something available for it. Most phones have non-writable operating systems (firmware). That means that a virus generally can't do anything. Now if you have something like Windows Mobile, Android and maybe even an iPhone you might look into it.

But generally, no you don't need to worry about it. Why do you ask? Loading something on to your phone that you shouldn't be? :twisted:

According to me, AVG Antivirus is the best because it detects mostly all the Virus and delete that virus.
AVG AntiVirus is really a nice antivirus i using it from last 2 years and because of that my PC run speedily....

I don't recall AVG having a mobile phone component or version so that's not really an option.
Oh and I deleted your signature for advertising in it.

Mostly just for Windows Mobile:

* BullGuard Mobile Antivirus
* F-Secure Mobile Anti-Virus(TM)
* Airscanner AntiVirus for Windows Mobile
* Symantec Mobile AntiVirus for Windows Mobile
* Trend Micro Mobile Security

Since iPhone OS is basically UNIX it's unlikely there will be any and the others are so proprietary I can't see any viruses spreading soon heh.

Hi,
Me Laracroft,
Off course it is advisable to have an antivirus on cell phone.
Specially when if you are using different software in you cell phone with internet.
This will provide you protection shield against viruses.
