Have you ever wondered what we do on the days when there's not so much news to report? I mean aside from playing video games which we do every day.
Today's been a horribly slow news day. I thought I'd give you a run down of how it's gone so far.
9.16 - Woke up, stumbled about for a few minutes getting into my big fluffy Nokia NGage bathrobe, doing some morning things.
9.30 - Conscious enough to operate the gas stove and not blow the place up. Make coffee.
9.35 - While coffee is in progress fire up the PCs and check email. Check for interesting news (this happens periodically throughout the day). Also check to make sure GDN is ONLINE (after all the recent problems I'm paranoid). Drink first cup of coffee
9.35 - 10.15 - Clean out the forums of all the garbage that accumulated. Mostly spam posts for medicine. Finally, the porn bots have stopped. Reply to some forum posts.
10.35 - Finish replying to Sunday/Monday Emails. Begin working on new ads for the site (in the header and after the news mostly)
11.00 - Take delivery of PS3 slim and games from Sony (Thank you!) Drink second cup of coffee. Eat two bananas.
11.30 Check Facebook (I was a little bored) Waste about 20 minutes there.
11.50 - Start new poll about Aion Online
12.00 - Received package from Post - Runes of Magic Chapter 2 - The Elven Prophecy from Frogster in Berlin (Thanks Axel!).
12.15 Realize I need to get some cables to hook up the PS3. Then realize I might already have them and dig around for a bit. Don't find what I need.
12.40 Check and find no news again. Decide to write a blog entry telling you about my day...
12.50 - While writing this go digging for cables and connectors for PS3 again, realize they're probably in America and decide to shower and head to the electro shop and the post office.
See how truly exciting it is to work here in the GDN Euro Office? The afternoon will hopefully be far more interesting in regards to game news but we'll see.
Did you say an NGage bathrobe? Oh no you di-ent! Do you actually have one of those things? The gadget, not the bathrobe I mean. Their brilliant marketing for that thing wuz fuzzy bathrobes??!! No wonder it never got off the ground. You should have demanded the matching fuzzy slippers to complete your cosplay wardrobe. LMFAO just picturing you in that sa-weet outfit...
