If you had to point at one thing in All Aspect Warfare that will differentiate it from other games, what would it be?
It is a thinking man’s shooter. Yes, I know that there are others (e.g. Armed Assault) that may want to lay claim to this notion, but being a sci-fi game, its just about mindless fun in which you have to make certain thoughtful decisions instead of just the run and gun stuff FPS games are notorious for. You have to worry about ammo, inventory use, skill stats, experience points etc.
The system requirements are pretty high, do you see this as potentially limiting the user-base for the game?
No, they’re not high. The game’s minimum requirements are based on a three year old spec at best. Just like the game’s premise, if you want to play it, you need to have a system to run it. We’re not doing what others do whereby they give out unrealistic specs. Then when gamers - thinking they’re covered - buy the game, they find they can’t run it. With all our games, we’ve given out accurate specs based on our own testing of the game using the minimal game settings which provide a good experience for the gamer. If you want to go higher on the visuals, then you have that option as well - as long as you have the system to run it.
PC System Requirements: These are in flux as the game is in beta. GDN has been informed that the previously stated specs are incorrect. As such we suggest you look to the game’s website for the most up to date specs as they are constantly changing while the game is in beta.
